ISHR-ES SERVIER Research Fellowship 2010 awarded to Dr Atsuko KASAHARA



The ISHR-ES SERVIER Fellowship was awarded to Dr Atsuko KASAHARA, for the project "Exploring the role of mitochondria-shaping protein in cardiomyocyte differentiation of mouse embryonic stem cells" to be carried out at the Laboratory of Mitochondrial Dynamics, Department of Cell Physiology and Metabolism, University of Geneva, Switzerland.
The award ceremony took place during the Frontiers in Cardiovascular Biology Meeting held in Berlin (16-19 July 2010). Dr Kasahara received the ISHR-Servier fellowship 2010 in presence of Oliver Kirst, Director of Servier Deutschland, and Prof. Thomas Eschenhagen, ISHR-ES president.

This 20 000 euros grant is offered for the ninth time by SERVIER in partnership with the European section of the ISHR to support a cardiovascular research project within a European research group for a period of 1 year.
